since march, my mum and i have been the people that won’t leave the house unless it is absolutely necessary, this includes picking up the shopping once a week. we’ve used click and collect for 9 months, and the people there are ridiculously considerate of people’s space, circumstance, and time, and have helped both of us survive this year, whilst living within our bubble. so we decided to drop off a small token of gratitude to those people who’ve helped 2020 be as functional as possible, and mum has done the same for the person who drops off the milk, who empties the bins, and the people that have provided content for us both to enjoy throughout the year. we’ve all been to hell and back, but brightening someone’s day that you appreciate can literally cost as little as a compliment, or in our case, £1.
